Bachelor of Science in Purchasing and Supply
The Bachelor of Science in Purchasing and Supply is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to manage strategic and operational supply chain activities effectively and efficiently. Drawing on international best practice in procurement and supply chain education, the programme focuses on the flow of goods, services and information between suppliers and customers, and builds competence in areas such as procurement processes, supplier selection, contract negotiation, logistics, inventory management, transportation and distribution.  This broad preparation helps graduates understand how well-managed purchasing and supply functions can reduce costs, add value and improve organisational performance in both the private and public sectors. 
Graduates of this programme can pursue a wide range of careers across manufacturing, retail, services, NGOs and government. Typical roles include purchasing or procurement officer, buyer, sourcing specialist, contracts and supplies officer, logistics or distribution officer, supply chain coordinator, inventory or warehouse controller, and, with experience, supply chain manager or procurement manager.  The degree also provides a strong foundation for professional certification and further postgraduate study in procurement, logistics and supply chain management.
