The university continues to work on many issues impacting international students, including obtaining clarification on immigration and other policies. As a student commences the process of study permit application process, note the following critical information:
When should I apply for the study permit?
You can begin applying for a study permit as soon as you receive your acceptance letter from the institution.
- Any student admitted to a program of study or who will be enrolled at the University of Lusaka for six (6) months or longer is required to apply for a study permit. This includes visiting/exchange students.
- All SADC students are required to apply for a Study permit once they have registered and are in Zambia.
