The UNILUS Alumni Association is a registered body that represents the interests of graduates of the University of Lusaka. It is dedicated to fostering lifelong connections among alumni while providing valuable networking opportunities and career development support. The association’s primary goal is to build a vibrant community of graduates who contribute to each other’s growth and to the continued advancement of the university.

UNILUS Alumni Association Activities

The UNILUS Alumni Association engages in a wide range of activities designed to strengthen connections among graduates, support current students, and contribute to the development of both the university and society. Key activities include:

• Alumni–Student Engagement: Promoting mutually beneficial interaction between alumni and current students through mentorship, networking, and career guidance.
• Industry Engagement Sessions: Organizing on-campus sessions where alumni who are industry leaders share their professional experiences and insights with students.
• University Development Support: Actively participating in initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of the University of Lusaka.
• Alumni Awards & Giving Campaigns: Raising funds for prizes that recognize exceptional graduating students and supporting initiatives that enhance the university’s academic environment.
• Donations & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Undertaking charitable projects and CSR initiatives to give back to the community.
• Alumni Speaker Series: Hosting inspiring talks and panel discussions led by distinguished graduates and industry leaders.
• Sports & Social Events: Organizing alumni and student sports days to encourage networking, collaboration, and healthy lifestyles.
• Fundraising & Scholarships: Conducting fundraising activities to establish scholarship funds for deserving and financially challenged students.
• Recognition & Awards: Instituting prizes for outstanding project work, research papers, and other notable professional contributions.
• Mentorship Program: Establishing structured mentorship opportunities for students to gain guidance from experienced alumni.
• Career Development & Job Placement: Creating job placement programs to support students and fresh graduates in securing employment opportunities.
