  • Silverest Campus: Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 22:00, Saturday: 09:00 - 22:00 (Circulation desk closes at 13:00), Sunday: 09:00 - 22:00 (Circulation desk closed)

Vacation Times

  • Pioneer and Leopards Hill: Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00, Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00, Sunday: Closed
  • Silverest: Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 22:00, Saturday: 09:00 - 22:00 (Circulation desk closes at 13:00), Sunday: 09:00 - 22:00 (Circulation desk closed)

Note: Libraries are closed on all public holidays.

Library Fees and Charges

  • Student ID Card: K100
  • Overdue Charge (Short Loan Materials): K10 per hour
  • Overdue Charge (Open Shelf Materials): K10 per day

Note: Payments must be made into the University of Lusaka Bank Account.

Library Rules

  • Admission requires a valid Student ID card.
  • Open Shelf materials can be borrowed for two weeks (extendable twice).
  • Short Loan materials may be borrowed for up to 3 hours.
  • Overdue materials incur fines (K10 per day for Open Shelf, K10 per hour for Short Loan).
  • Lost or damaged library materials or ID cards will incur fines (K100 for ID).
  • Silence must be maintained in the library at all times.
  • No food or drinks are allowed in the library.
  • Do not litter the library premises.
  • Overdue and reserved library materials cannot be renewed.
  • Do not reserve study spaces.
