1. How do I log in?
Use your student portal login credentials to log in to the E-Learning platform.
1. I can’t log in to the eLearning platform but can access the student portal.
Make sure you are registered for the semester and if so reset your pasword from your student portal account Reset from here.
2. What is the difference between the Moodle App and the eLearning website?
The Moodle App is a mobile version for access on-the-go. The website offers full functionality.
3. What link do I use to connect the Moodle App?
Use the link: https://elearning.unilus.ac.zm when adding your site in the app.
4. How do I find my courses on the eLearning Platform?
Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard. All enrolled courses are listed under "My Courses."
5. How do I attempt a quiz?
Use the link: https://host.unilus.app/ to log into the online assessments platform, select my courses choose the desired course the quiz should be one of the first notices.
6. How do I submit an assignment?
Log into the eLearning search for the desired course and click on it, the assignment should be one fo the first options.
7. How do I get my ID processed as a new student?
Please send an email to id@unilus.ac.zm with a passport-sized photograph attached, clearly indicating the campus from which you wish to collect your ID card..
8. How do I submit an assignment through the plagarism checker?
Once the assignment is posted on the eLearning platform, wait a few minutes and the percentage of your document will appear.
9. How do I contact my lecturers or course coordinators?
Use the messaging feature in the course or send an email via the contact details provided in the course summary.
10. What software is required to use the E-learning platform?
A modern browser (Chrome, Firefox) and PDF reader are required. Office software is recommended.
11. I can't open files on the eLearning platform.
Check your browser’s download settings or try accessing from a different device/browser.
12. How do I view my assignment deadlines in my calendar?
Scroll down on the eLearning calendar, view the upcoming events or alternatively, open the desired course and select the assignment to view its opening and closing dates.
13. I don’t receive notifications for class activities.
Use your student email for all correspondence with the school.
14. Which emails should I use for correspondence?
Use your official student email (e.g., yourname@unilus.ac.zm) for all communications with the university.
