INVITATION TO THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LUSAKA SILVEREST CAMPUS AND TEACHING HOSPITAL BY MR. HAKAINDE HICHILEMA, PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA
The University of Lusaka cordially invites all students to attend the Official Opening of the University of Lusaka Silverest Campus and Teaching Hospital by Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia, to be held on Friday, 10 April 2026 at 08:00 hours.
On the same day the University will host a special convocation ceremony. Kindly dress in accordance with your programme of study and carry your Student ID card.

This is a significant University occasion and all students are required to be present to witness and participate in the events.
Please note:
- All undergraduate classes scheduled for Friday, 10 April 2026 are cancelled to enable students to attend.
- Examinations originally timetabled for Friday, 10 April 2026 have been rescheduled to Monday, 13 April 2026. Students should report for their examinations on the new date at the same times and venues unless otherwise informed.
