The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) programme is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ) and recognised by the Higher Education Authority. It is the standard academic credential for registered nurses and provides a strong foundation for a professional nursing career, combining rigorous theoretical knowledge with practical skills in nursing practice. Upon completion, students are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing and are equipped with core competencies in clinical practice, management and leadership, research, and education. Entry into Year 1 is for applicants coming straight from school without A levels, and the total duration from Year 1 entry is five years. Applicants with A levels are admitted into Year 2, while qualified nurses with a diploma enter directly into Year 3.
