This is a combined or double-discipline Master of Science degree programme in Epidemiology and
Biostatistics. The study programme arms the candidate with strong professional level skills in both
Epidemiology and Biostatistics. The programme takes the student from foundation right up to advanced
level theoretical and practical knowledge in each of the two (2) disciplines (Epidemiology & Biostatistics).
Learning format delivers an optimal combination of theory and practice in both Epidemiology and

The minimum entry requirement is a first degree from a recognized university in any health-related field, such as public health, medical sciences, health management, health promotion, social work, biological sciences, statistics, nutrition, and environmental science. In addition, applicants who hold a degree with practical experience and have a good background in mathematics or statistics can also apply.
